Breathwork Sessions
Dr. Messinger has extensive training as a facilitator for breathwork sessions. He utilizes a form of breathwork called Conscious, Connected Breathing. It is a very simple technique yet often results in a profound experience for the client. Conscious connected breathwork, or circular breathwork, is a breathing pattern that can unlock a world of benefits for your mind, body, and spirit.
Conscious connected breathing involves taking breaths in a continuous cycle, without pausing between inhales and exhales. This circular pattern triggers a cascade of physiological responses in the body, including activating the sympathetic nervous system, which while in a calm state, opens the door to release stress, stuck emotions, and trauma from the body and the nervous system.
Physically, the body gets flooded with oxygen which creates a feeling of revitalization, more energy, and less tension held in the body.
Many people report experiencing profound emotional and spiritual transformations through this practice. By bringing awareness to our breath and maintaining a steady rhythm, we create a pathway to connect with our inner selves, quieting the chatter of the mind and tapping into our innate wisdom. Often people report a feeling of peace that results from the process which results in greater trust in the process of life
From a spiritual perspective, conscious connected breathing can serve as a bridge between the conscious and subconscious mind, opening the door to expanded awareness and insights. Many people describe feeling a deep sense of connection to something greater than themselves, whether it be the universe, nature, or their own inner divinity.
The sessions are a one-hour appointment with one-on-one guidance and inspirational music that greatly enhances the process.
